A time to mourn - yes...and that goes on. But I choose to hope, too. That suffering will one day be transformed.
On my drive out, the clouds were like stone and dust - and the sky - only white - not warm. Yet there were pockets where yellow sun shone through and heaven's blue, though striaed with strata marks - revealed itself.
As I read and sat and prayed and gave up the mark of the married, wind rushed all around. But flowers stayed planted, grasses stayed lush and there was a peace in Morden's valley.
I'll drive home and remember and let tears roll down - but I have moved one step further today.
He is our refuge and strength
A very present help in time of trouble.
Amen

The pictures of the ring change have:
my left hand on Jeremiah 30 and 31
And my right on Romans 5:3-5.
Those biblical references are so full of hope! May you experience fully that hope is our prayer for you.
