Sunday October 17

A whirlwind weekend!

Back in to the city for my daughter and son-in-law’s social Friday night.  Many dressed up in costumes- and me bringing back the 70s with a twister-gal outfit!

Then, checking out HSC with my niece on a Friday night.  Just a casted wrist- and minus some sleep. J

Saturday we breakfasted at 1:30 ish and checked out that Body Exhibit.  Yes, everyone is said to have donated their bodies, but how can we be really sure?  Still, a huge opportunity for learning and seeing how interconnected the human body is, how marvellously we are made and the combined strength and frailty that is being human.

Marla, a nurse friend from PEI came out early for the social, and was able to spend some time with all of us.  This was wonderful.

Bacon and eggs for breakfast before church this morning.  Yumm.  The dogs hurt that they were banished to leashes in the front yard while we sat down together.

Naps, “discussions”, conversations and too much food.  A good weekend, but very full.

Off to work early tomorrow- but it feels like I’ve really been home.  And that’s really a good thing.

Much love

felicia
