First, Loren’s blood sugar was a more reasonable 8.6 this morning- down from 20 the previous evening. Then we had a good waffle breakfast with Cammie and Alissa before church. Music lifted us and we were called to continue to wait/trust/hope on the Lord.
And the donations came in. Overwhelming generosity by so many people! Enough to deal with income taxes and pay for Cammie and Alissa’s university classes this September!
I even received an unexpected cheque through work.
Ahh and such a good day spent with people who love us!
Lunch out with good friends…and a steak dinner with salads arrived with Loren’s worship team late afternoon!
Wonderful conversation around a fire…and a brother and sister too!
Thank-you…. As Carla says…."God is saying - 'Look, I will take care of them... I will take care of them financially, I will make sure that love surrounds them'".
And He does!
