We arrived in Victoria upon a helicopter. What a way to whale watch! The gorgeous hotel has wonderful hoteliers who warmly greeted us (early) and sent up the champagne and strawberries.
A wonderful jacuzzi soak and nap followed. Refreshed, we headed down to hors d'oeuvres. There is a cheery breakfast room and wine is served in the library. Contemplating dinner at Fire and Water in the Marriott down the street. Ahhh. Soooo good. Turns out...one of the largest miniature train displays is just beside the Empress Hotel in Victoria. God sees to even these details. We had hoped to see Miniatur Wunderland in Hamburg...
