This journey is a continual mixture of both. We had such a wonderful family time in East Braintree this Easter weekend, and daily we feel the love people have for us, the love of God in action. Still, there are moments for each of us when we glimpse what we are losing and our hearts hurt.
In these moments, the everyday becomes more challenging, minor frustrations feel so heavy. It's hard to be a mom when even the little things seem hard to fix for hurting kids.
I know there is a bigger hurt behind the small frustration.
