Explanations...

I am sure there will be questions.

In March and most of April we did not have any other income except that which was generously donated by so many people.  Given that the income situation will be the same for a while, given that our debt load was so very high, and that our daughter is getting married, I accessed Compassionate Assistance from our Life Insurance policy.

We paid down almost all of our debt (to reduce monthly expenses), are able to afford wedding expenditures and we knew our van was going to have to be replaced.
It is important to Loren that his family will be OK. It gives him comfort to know that we won’t be under such a debt burden and that I will have a safe vehicle. It matters to us both that Brynlee has the wedding she wants in this short space of time.

IF you wonder - did we really need the help? We absolutely did. All of those debts had monthly charges that would not have been paid during those months without your help.

These other things come out of a modest life insurance policy.

It is OK to have questions. It is our desire to be open and honest with all of you.  This is how we choose to live our lives.

Much love
Felicia
